Report Invoca phone calls and Signals to TikTok as Events, using their Events API, to power ad optimization and audience building.
With this integration, you can report calls and Signals as TikTok Events, automatically optimize ad delivery toward standard event names, and use Invoca data to build TikTok audiences.
Step 1: Get your TikTok Pixel ID and Access Token
- In TikTok Ads Manager, click Tools, then Events, then Web Events.
- Find the Pixel you want to use and copy its Pixel ID.
- Click into the Pixel, go to Settings, scroll to the Events API section, and generate an Access Token. Copy it.
Step 2: Set up the integration in Invoca
- In the sidebar, click Integrations, then Manage Integrations, then the TikTok tile.
- Enter a friendly name and the Pixel ID and Access Token from Step 1.
Create an Action
- Enter a friendly name for the Action (include “Call” or the Signal name).
- Optionally filter by Profile or Campaign.
- Under Triggered By, choose All Calls or Signal.
- Enter an Event Name (each Action needs a unique one). Choose one of TikTok’s 14 standard event names to enable automated ad optimization and audience building, or a custom event name (no spaces, following TikTok’s naming requirements) for more granular reporting.
- Optionally enter a 3-letter currency code; leave blank to default to USD.
- Click Save. Repeat for each transaction type you want to report.
- Click the gear icon, then Invoca Tags, and find your Tag.
- Open the Revision History tab and create a new draft.
- Confirm the TikTok Click ID parameter has Data Source Type set to URL Param and is enabled.
- Find the TikTok Cookie ID parameter, set Data Source Type to Cookie, enable it, and enter
_ttp as the Data Source Name.
- Test your changes, then click Save & Go Live. Update every Tag if you have multiple.
Validating that events reach TikTok
- In TikTok Ads Manager, go to Assets > Events > Manage Web Events, select your Pixel or Events API connection, and check the Overview page for the event name(s) you configured — confirm the totals roughly match what Invoca has sent.
- In Invoca, click Integrations, then Manage Integrations, then the TikTok tile, then the name of your Action.
- Review the Delivery Details chart, showing successes (green) and errors (red) by day for the last 30 days. Click Delivery History for individual requests and responses.
