Send Invoca call and conversation outcomes to Freshpaint using its HTTP API, so healthcare marketers can control which data points reach third-party systems like Google Ads, Meta, and Microsoft Ads.Before you begin: You’ll need access to your Freshpaint environment settings, and your Invoca account must have the Freshpaint integration enabled. Contact your Invoca account team if the integration tile shows “Learn More” instead of letting you configure it.
What this integration lets you do
- Report Invoca phone calls and Signals to Freshpaint as events.
- Use Freshpaint to filter and obfuscate sensitive data before sending it to other systems.
Step 1: Get your Freshpaint Environment ID
- Log in to your Freshpaint environment and select Setup.
- Locate the Server-side source and click Configure.
- Copy your Environment ID — you’ll need it when configuring the Freshpaint tile in Invoca.
Step 2: Set up the integration in Invoca
- In the Invoca sidebar, click Integrations, then Manage Integrations.
- Click the Freshpaint tile. If your account shows “Learn More” instead, contact your Invoca account team to enable the integration.
- Enter a friendly name to identify your Freshpaint environment, and enter the Environment ID from Step 1.
Create an Action
An Action sends a call or a specific Signal to Freshpaint as an event.- Enter a friendly name for the Action, including “Call” or the Signal name to distinguish between Actions.
- Optionally filter which calls or Signals to send by choosing a Profile or Campaign.
- Under Triggered By, choose All Calls to report every call, or Signal to report a specific Signal. Create a separate Action for each transaction type you want to send.
- Enter the Event Name — the name that will appear in Freshpaint, matching your Triggered By selection.
- Click Save. To add another Action, click + New Action.
Step 3: Configure your Invoca Tag(s) to capture the Freshpaint Anonymous ID
- Click the gear icon, select Invoca Tags, and locate the Tag on your website.
- Open the Revision History tab and create a new draft, or continue an existing one.
- Find the Freshpaint Anonymous ID parameter in the Marketing Data section.
- Set its Data Source Type to DataLayer and enable it.
- Enter
freshpaint.user().anonymousId()as the Data Source Name. - Test your changes, then click Save & Go Live.
Optional: Pass additional parameters to Freshpaint
Invoca sends the Google Click ID ($gclid), Microsoft Click ID ($msclkid), and Facebook Click ID ($fbclid) by default — no need to add those separately. For other downstream systems (like StackAdapt or The Trade Desk), add their identifiers as Additional Parameters once the corresponding Marketing Data field exists and the Invoca Tag captures it.
For Meta specifically, Freshpaint also requires
user_agent to pass events to Meta — enable the client User Agent setting in a new Tag draft to capture it.
To add a parameter, open the Action, click + Add Values under Additional Parameters, enter the parameter name in the left box, and set the value in the right box (use the < > icon to pick a dynamic Marketing Data field).
Validate that events are reaching Freshpaint
- In Invoca, click Integrations, then Manage Integrations.
- Click the Freshpaint tile, then the name of the Action you created.
- Review the Delivery Details chart, which shows successes (green) and errors (red) by day for the last 30 days. Click Delivery History for individual requests and responses.
- In Freshpaint, use Live View to see a real-time stream of events — Invoca-reported events show the Invoca logo.
Put your data to work
- Create Transformations of the Invoca event data to prepare it for downstream destinations.
- Configure App or Warehouse Destinations in Freshpaint and include Invoca-reported events when sharing data with those systems.
