This usually means the Microsoft Advertising integration became invalid — reauthorizing it typically resolves the issue.
Applies to: Microsoft Advertising, network-level integration

Symptoms

  • Offline conversions aren’t being uploaded into Microsoft Advertising even though goals are set up there.
  • Configuring goals in Invoca shows the error “the conversion goal with the same name already exists for the customer.”
  • The last failed response shows {:error=>"The Microsoft Click Id of the offline conversion is invalid."}.
  • Conversions haven’t fired in a while.
  • No conversions are configured in the Invoca platform.

Cause

The Microsoft Advertising integration became invalid, which caused data to stop flowing.

Resolution

  1. Remove the old conversions within Microsoft Advertising.
  2. Deactivate and reauthorize the integration within Invoca.
  3. Confirm data is flowing into Microsoft Advertising after 24–48 hours.
