Send Invoca call and conversation data to Contentsquare to identify pain points in the digital experience, view session replays that led to a call, and link offline touchpoints with your online conversion funnels. Before you begin: Ask your Invoca Customer Success Manager (or email success@invoca.com) to enable the Contentsquare Enrichment API for your account — this must happen before you can complete setup.
What this integration lets you do
Invoca sends call and conversation insights to the Contentsquare Enrichment API in real time. This integration helps you:- Identify digital leakage points more clearly.
- Get a better view of how offline activity relates to your online conversion funnels.
- Use offline call data and conversion events for segmentation.
Step 1: Prepare your Contentsquare account
The Contentsquare Enrichment API must be enabled at the account level within Contentsquare. Invoca uses a static, repeatable data schema for this integration that can only be changed with Contentsquare’s approval (see the data schema in the FAQ section below).Step 2: Capture the Contentsquare ID
Set up your Invoca account and Tag to capture the Contentsquare ID — an anonymous visitor ID — from your customer’s browser session. This lets Invoca attribute the conversion event it reports to Contentsquare back to an ad view or click.- Create a custom Marketing Data field with these settings:
- Field Type: Short Text
- Friendly Name: Contentsquare User ID
- Partner (API) Name:
csq_id - Attribution Model: Last
Step 3: Configure the Contentsquare integration tile in Invoca
- Select Integrations in the sidebar, then Manage Integrations.
- Click the Contentsquare tile.
- If the tile shows “Ready to Integrate,” click Integrate. If you don’t see that option, contact your Invoca CSM or success@invoca.com for access.
- Complete the integration tile:
- Invoca Friendly Name: a name to identify this Contentsquare project, useful if you integrate more than one.
- Project ID: found in the URL as the “project” query string parameter.
- Choose an Action to trigger data flow between Invoca and Contentsquare — either whenever you receive a call, or when a specific Signal occurs:
- Invoca Friendly Name: name the Action, for example “CSQ Invoca Calls” or “CSQ Invoca [Signal Name].”
- Profile or Campaign: optionally filter which calls send to this project.
- Triggered By: choose All Calls to send every call, or Signal to send a specific Signal’s events. If you use a Signal, make sure its criteria requires a Contentsquare ID to be present — calls without one are rejected by Contentsquare.
- Click Integrate. Repeat the Action setup for each Signal you want to send.
Step 4: Validate your integration
- In Invoca, select Integrations, then Manage Integrations.
- Click the Contentsquare tile, then the name of the Action you created.
- Review the Delivery Details chart, which shows successes (green) and errors (red) by day for the last 30 days. If you see errors, click the Delivery History tab to see individual requests and responses — the response often explains the issue.
