This is expected behavior when a Stage is the Opportunity’s default at creation rather than one it was updated to — conversion reporting only fires on updates.
Applies to: Customers with the Salesforce Managed Package (v5.0 or higher) installed in Salesforce and the Salesforce Sales Cloud tile app installed in their Invoca network, who have opted to send Opportunity Stages back to Invoca as Signals

Symptoms

  • The option to send Opportunity Conversion Data to Invoca is selected in the Invoca Admin section of the managed package
  • All selected Opportunity Stages have corresponding Signals in Invoca, but one or more aren’t converting as expected

Cause

The Conversion Reporting feature only reports back to Invoca when a Lead Status or Opportunity Stage is updated. If a Stage is already applied to an Opportunity by default when it’s created, that Stage won’t be reported back to Invoca.

Resolution

This is expected behavior — the Signal that wasn’t converting corresponded to the Opportunity’s default Stage at creation, not a Stage it was updated to.
