Invoca fields that only have data once a call ends can’t populate on Lead records when field mapping uses the Pre-Transfer webhook trigger.
When your integration uses the Pre-Transfer webhook, certain Invoca fields aren’t available yet at the moment mapping happens, so they can’t populate on the Lead record.
Prerequisites
- The Invoca Salesforce package installed (any version)
- Field mapping configured in Invoca
- The Pre-Transfer webhook selected as your field-mapping trigger
Symptoms
Invoca fields don’t populate on the Lead record in Salesforce, even though the field mapping in Invoca appears correctly configured.
Cause
Field mapping in Invoca happens only once, at the moment a match is made between a call and a Lead. If your integration is configured to use the Pre-Transfer webhook, that match-and-map step happens when the pre-transfer webhook fires to Salesforce — which is before the call has ended. Some Invoca fields don’t have data until the call is complete, so they simply aren’t available yet at that point and can’t be mapped.
Resolution
Remove the following fields from your Pre-Transfer field mapping, since none of them are available under the Pre-Transfer trigger:
- All Signals (Customer Boolean Name # / Customer Boolean Value #)
- Call Recording
- Call Recording Link
- Connect Duration
- Duration
- End of Call Reason
- AdWords fields: Campaign, Campaign ID, Keyword ID, Ad, Ad Group, Ad Group ID, Search Type, Keywords
After removing these fields, click Save.
If you need any of this data on the Lead record, consider switching your integration to a post-call webhook trigger instead, since that data becomes available once the call ends.Last modified on September 30, 2026
