Let callers navigate your call treatment menus by talking instead of pressing keys. When building a call treatment that requires customer input — like asking a question — Invoca can recognize spoken responses, so callers can navigate your menus just by talking. For example, with speech recognition enabled, an “Ask a Question” node could prompt: “For sales, say ‘sales’ or press 1. For customer service, say ‘customer service’ or press 2.” The caller could then either say “sales” or press 1 to reach your sales call center.
Using speech recognition in your call treatments
Speech recognition needs to be enabled on your account first. Reach out to your account team or support@invoca.com to request it. Once enabled, build your call treatment and check the “Enable Speech Recognition” checkbox. This adds speech recognition to the following node types:- Ask for number input
- Ask a question
- Ask a series of questions
- Ask a yes or no question
