Use the occurred_at_time field when reporting a Signal after the call happened, so partner integrations show the actual conversion time instead of when it was reported to Invoca.
Applies to: Signal API, Signal File Upload, Integrations

Symptoms

A large number of Signals were reported to partner integrations as occurring at the same time, on the same day — rather than when they actually converted.

Cause

The Signals in question didn’t include an occurred_at_time field when reporting post-call Signal events. Without it, Invoca defaults to using the time the conversion was reported to Invoca — that is, when the Signal API call was sent or the Signal file was uploaded — rather than when the conversion actually happened.

Resolution

If you’re sending Invoca a Signal conversion after the call has already occurred, use the occurred_at_time field with the actual date and time of the conversion. This value is then used in partner integrations, such as Google Campaign Manager, to show the correct conversion time in their reporting, as well as in Invoca’s own.
