Manually reassign a Signal’s value on a specific call to correct scorecards and reports when the automated result missed the whole story.
Signals give feedback on calls but sometimes miss the whole story — Voice or Signal AI may mishear a word or phrase, or a call might not apply to the scoring criteria set up. You can manually reassign Signal values to correct scorecards and reports, and potentially trigger webhooks. Editing a Signal field itself (not just its value on one call) is possible in some cases, but risky — it can majorly disrupt historical reporting. See Signals Overview to learn more before doing this.

Overriding a Signal result on a call

First, follow the guide on reviewing calls (recordings and transcripts) to access the call. In the Analysis panel, you’ll see the Signal list with values and icons: To change a value:
  1. Select the pencil icon.
  2. Choose True, False, or Not Applied for each Signal.
  3. Click Save.
New values reflect in the call’s Analysis panel, Invoca reports, and sales agents’ scorecards.

What happens after you override a result

If the corrected Signal was an AI Signal, your correction becomes training data that improves future predictions — see the guide on improving Signal AI accuracy. A webhook set to fire on an edited Signal only fires if you changed the value to True.
