Connect Invoca to Adobe Target to create segments and attributes from call data, so you can personalize content and experiences based on phone conversations.
This guide is part of a series connecting Invoca to Adobe Experience Cloud products. Before you begin: You need access to your Adobe Target account and permission to edit Invoca Tags, Marketing Data fields, and webhooks.

Choose a connection method

If you have both Adobe Analytics and Adobe Target, connect through Adobe Analytics first — it’s simpler to set up, though it only updates Target profiles once a day. To send data to Target in real time instead, connect Invoca directly to Target, which updates Target Profiles with Invoca Signals as a profile attribute.

Step 1: Capture Adobe Target data in Invoca

  1. Follow the Adobe Analytics installation guide to connect Invoca to Adobe Analytics.
  2. Connect your Adobe Analytics account to Adobe Target (see Adobe’s documentation).

Alternative: connect directly to Target

  1. Edit your Invoca Tag. In the custom code block, paste:
  1. Create a custom Marketing Data field to store the visitor’s pcID:
    • Partner (API) Name: mbox
    • Friendly Name: Target Profile ID
    • Field Type: Short Text Field
    • Attribution Model: Last

Step 2: Choose which data to send to Adobe Target

  1. In Invoca, open your Signals menu and list the Signal insights you want to pass to Adobe Target for each call.
  2. Create a Target profile attribute named inv_call to capture phone calls, and one profile attribute per Signal you want to track, named inv_[Signal Name] (see Adobe’s documentation on profile parameters).

Step 3: Send data using a webhook (direct integration only)

  1. Create a Post-Call Webhook for each event type (all calls, or a specific Signal) you want to send to Target in real time.
  2. Select the network or profile you want to integrate.
  3. Create a new webhook with these settings:

Step 4: Put the integration to use

  1. Create an audience in Target based on Invoca profile attributes.
  2. Use Invoca-powered audiences for content personalization or A/B testing.
  3. Connect Adobe Analytics and Target using A4T to view call events tied to A/B testing in Adobe Analytics.
