Set a target limit for payouts or calls in a campaign, and get notified at 75%, 90%, and 100% of that limit. If you use Invoca for performance marketing, you can set a target limit for payouts or calls received in a campaign, and get notified when it reaches 75%, 90%, and 100% of that limit. This helps you and your affiliate partners manage call center volume and keep payouts within an expected range. For Publisher Promotions, this only sends a notification — you’ll need to take further action, like pausing the campaign, to stop additional calls or payouts. In bundled campaigns, budgets and call caps can stop routing calls to a destination campaign once it hits its limit, enforcing the limit automatically. See Bundled Campaign: Select Transfer Destination from Bundle for details. By default, call caps only track the total number of calls to a campaign. To constrain simultaneous calls instead, see How to Limit the Number of Simultaneous Calls to One Promo Number Using Concurrent Call Caps.
Setting a budget or call cap
- Create or edit a campaign, selecting either a Publisher Promotion or a bundled campaign.
- During the Payout step, open the Budget and Call Cap Alerts section. If your account’s notification settings don’t allow budget and call cap alerts, you’ll be prompted to change them — click Change notification settings, then enable Budgets and Call Caps notifications for you and your affiliate partners.
- To set a budget, check the Budget checkbox:
- Use the Period radio buttons to choose how often the budget resets (Quarterly, Monthly, Weekly, Daily, or Ongoing), and the dropdown to choose the day and time it resets.
- In the Amount field, enter the total commissions (payouts and bonuses) to send before triggering an alert.
- To constrain call volume, check the Periodic Call Cap checkbox:
- Use the same Period options to choose the reset schedule.
- In the Calls field, enter the total number of calls to field before triggering an alert.
