Automatically route calls to eligible destination campaigns based on hours, region, and budgets, using the Select Transfer Destination from Bundle node.
When running a bundled campaign, you can set up your call treatment to automatically route calls to eligible destination campaigns based on call center hours, target regions, and budgets, along with settings you choose. This call treatment option is called Select Transfer Destination from Bundle. Before you begin: Make sure you’ve added all eligible destination campaigns to your bundled campaign in its campaign settings.

Setting up routing for your bundled campaign

  1. Build a call treatment for your bundled campaign, and add Select Transfer Destination from Bundle to your call treatment tree. Since this option sends calls to destination campaigns with their own call treatment trees, place this node at or near the top of your tree to avoid duplicating options already handled downstream.
  2. Drag the slider between Weighted Distribution and Choose Best to set the logic used to route calls between destination campaigns:
    • All the way left: routes all calls through Weighted Distribution — a round-robin style distribution across eligible destinations (see below).
    • All the way right: routes all calls through Choose Best — sending calls to the eligible campaign that pays out best.
  3. In the Else option, set a fallback destination in case none of your bundled campaigns are available. Use a campaign that’s always available across all hours and regions, so you don’t lose the call entirely.

Changing your Weighted Distribution model

To adjust how calls are routed under Weighted Distribution, click Edit Weighted Distribution during step 2 above, and enter a Transfer Weight for each destination. Destinations with a higher weight receive more calls; a weight of 0 makes a destination ineligible for transfer. For example, if 50% of calls are routed via Weighted Distribution, and Destination A and Destination B have a 1:2 weight ratio, Destination A receives a third of those calls and Destination B receives two-thirds. Since this setting relies on historical data, use it only after accruing at least 30 days of call data.
