Combine Custom Target Regions with a payout condition to vary bonus amounts by the caller’s region.
If you use Invoca for affiliate marketing, you can vary how calls pay out based on the caller’s region.

Setting up region-based payouts

  1. Set up Custom Target Regions for your campaign. You can create several Target Regions, so define one for each region that should affect payouts differently. This article uses “New England” and “Midwest” as an example.
  2. Go to Campaigns, then select the campaign you want to customize.
  3. In the Overview tile, click Edit. Under Campaign Type, confirm either Media Channel Promotion or Syndicated Promotion is selected, to confirm this is an affiliate campaign. Scroll down, click the Step dropdown, and select Payout.
  4. Choose the payout you want to add a regional condition to, click Add Payout Condition, then click Add Condition and select In Region. You can set a condition for any region you created in step 1. To set different payouts for different regions, create a separate bonus payout for each region.
For example, you might build a payout that gives a 4bonusforqualifiedcallsfrom"NewEngland"anda4 bonus for qualified calls from "New England" and a 5 bonus for qualified calls from “Midwest.” A bonus only pays out if the call has already met the base payout condition — so if a caller from New England stays on the line for three minutes (meeting a two-minute base condition), the affiliate earns the base payout plus the $4 bonus. If a caller from the Midwest only stays 1 minute 30 seconds, no payout applies at all, since the base condition wasn’t met.
