Every call you receive in Invoca is fielded through a campaign — the part of your account that handles call routing, call treatment, promo numbers, and (for performance marketers) affiliate payouts.Every call you receive in Invoca is fielded through an Invoca campaign. Invoca campaigns aren’t the same thing as a marketing campaign — it’s the term for the part of your Invoca account that handles a range of options related to how a call is received, treated, and routed.
Routing your phone calls to the correct destination
Call routing is the first and most important thing a campaign handles. While your Invoca Tag deployment serves promo numbers on your landing pages, your campaign determines which calls go to which destinations. Invoca supports a few different routing approaches, each housed in Campaigns:- If you only have a few destination numbers, see Call Treatments & IVR for how to route calls directly.
- If you manage a large network of distributed locations, such as a franchise, see Lookup Table Routing.
- If you use Invoca for performance marketing, campaigns can also route calls through the affiliates that drove them, for accurate payouts — see the performance marketing section below.
