Common reasons a bundled call’s payout didn’t match expectations, and how to work through each one. Before you begin: You’ll need the Call Record ID and date of the call — find these under Reports > Calls, using your filter and search controls.
Step 1: Check your Call Details Report
Open the call’s detailed view (the magnifying glass icon in the Call Details column), click Call Info, then scroll to the Conversion Data section to see the payout details. Step 2: Check for customized payout behavior
Payout rules can be customized per affiliate campaign or per individual promo number.- From the Call Details Report, copy the Source phone number.
- In the sidebar, click Promo Numbers, and filter by that number.
- Check the Customized At column: a dash means no customization; “Promo Number” means payouts were customized specifically for that number; “Affiliate Campaign” means customization applies to the whole campaign.
- Click the ellipsis in the Actions column and select Customize to review or adjust.
Step 3: Check whether payout settings changed since the call
Open the destination campaign, click Actions, then “Compare previous campaign changes” to see a history of edits with timestamps. Confirm the terms in effect at the time of the call — hours, regions, or duration requirements may have changed since.Step 4: Confirm the call was eligible for payout at all
- Does your User Settings time zone match your Advertiser campaign’s time zone?
- Was this a repeat caller?
- Was the call placed from a supported region, and during open hours?
- Did the destination campaign have a budget in place, and if so, was it exhausted at the time of the call?
- Did the destination campaign have a concurrent call cap, and if so, how many calls were already in flight?
