Get an SMS-enabled local promo number and connect it to your AI Messaging Agent, so leads who text your number get an instant, automated reply.
Overview
Local promo numbers can send and receive text messages. You can turn on SMS for a local number you already have, or order a new SMS-eligible one. After you connect the number to an AI agent, the agent answers inbound texts, while calls to the same number keep following your campaign’s call treatment. Before you begin
Local SMS must be turned on for your account before you can SMS-enable local numbers. This requires a one-time 10DLC (10-digit long code) registration, which is the carrier registration for local business texting. Invoca submits the brand and campaign registration to the carriers on your behalf. Contact your Customer Success Manager (CSM) to start registration. Approval typically takes 1 to 3 business days. One registration covers up to 49 local numbers.
