Troubleshooting: The Phone Number on My Landing Page Isn't Swapping

A step-by-step checklist for a landing page number that isn’t dynamically swapping to an Invoca promo number.

Step 1: Verify the Invoca Tag is running on your site

Step 2: Confirm your Invoca campaign is set up correctly

1. In the sidebar, click Campaigns, then Manage Campaigns, and select the campaign containing the number you’re troubleshooting.
2. On the campaign summary page, check:
   • Is the campaign active? A pending campaign, or one with unactivated changes, can affect number replacement.
   • Is there a RingPool associated with this campaign?

Step 3: Troubleshoot your Invoca Tag in the Tag Wizard

1. Click Settings in the sidebar, then Invoca Tag under the Network section.
2. Check for the following:
   • Is the Tag in draft state? At least one Live version must be running — unpublished edits can interfere with number replacement.
   • Is the number you expect to be replaced actually identified in the Tag? If replacing all numbers on your site, the campaign name appears under “All calls will be routed based on this Campaign’s call treatment.” If replacing specific numbers, the campaign appears under “Replace specific phone numbers. Includes vanity numbers.”
   • Did you include a value in “Required Parameter to Run” under Advanced Settings? If so, this could be interfering with the Tag’s functionality — check the current Tag revision’s Advanced (optional) tile.
