Known issues
Gaps in the current rules
- No stated rule for an empty group. Whether a select-all checkbox hides, disables, or
renders unchecked with nothing to check is undecided.
- No indeterminate state exists. Checked against the Figma library’s own
Checkbox
component (Checked=false/true × State=Default/Hover/Disabled/Focused — 8 combinations,
exhaustively named, none of them a third value) and its Checkbox + Label composite
(Selected=false/true × the same four states) — neither carries an indeterminate or mixed
axis. An earlier pass of this documentation treated indeterminate as an established
feature; that was written from general checkbox conventions, not from any Titan evidence,
and was wrong to state as settled — already recorded above.
Constraints Titan should enforce
These are real, currently-true rules. Nothing in code stops a builder from violating them today —
each is a placeholder for a guardrail Titan hasn’t built, not a decision still being made.
