To retrieve or edit a specific call record via the Invoca API, provide the Call Record ID, Transaction ID, or the call's start time plus at least one more identifying detail.

## Applies To

Anyone using Invoca's APIs to retrieve or edit specific call records.

## Required Identifiers

To identify one specific call record, your API request must include one of the following:

1. The Invoca Call Record ID, or
2. The Transaction ID, or
3. The call's Start Time, plus at least one of:
   * The calling phone number (recommended), or
   * The call duration, in seconds

Providing the Call Record ID or Transaction ID alone is enough, since each uniquely identifies a single call. If you use Start Time instead, pair it with the calling phone number or duration — start time alone can match more than one call.
