# Understanding Transactions

> Every time reporting data about a phone call changes, Invoca logs it as a transaction — some calls generate more than one.

<Note>
  Invoca is migrating Dashboards and Reports to the newer Insights & Analytics experience. See [Insights & Analytics: Getting Started Guide](/s/article/insights-analytics-getting-started-guide) to check out the new experience.
</Note>

Whenever call or Signal data changes in your account, it's logged as a transaction, viewable in your Transaction Details report. These changes can occur when the call itself takes place, or later when call or Signal data is corrected — known as a "post-call event." Some legacy reporting data may also include separate transactions for individual Signals or Reported Conversions.

## Why a single call can produce multiple transactions

Phone calls can result in more than one transaction. For example:

* A call routed through a Bundled Campaign to a destination campaign produces two "call" transactions.
* A call later amended with a conversion via Signal file upload results in two transactions — a call and a post-call event — both referencing the same Call Record ID.

## Finding related transactions

In your Transaction Details report, each transaction has a unique Transaction ID. Click the Call Record ID of any transaction to see whether other transactions also affected that same phone call.
