# Understanding and Changing Your Campaign Status

> Learn what each campaign status means — Live, Pending, Live (pending), Paused, Suspended, and Archived — and where to view or change it.

Campaigns are the backbone of your Invoca account, but they're not always taking calls. To view — and, with the right user role, change — a campaign's status, log in to Invoca, click **Campaigns** in the sidebar menu, then select **Manage/View Campaigns**. You'll see each campaign's status in the Status column.

Here's what each status means:

* **Live:** the campaign is fully set up and actively tracking and routing calls.
* **Pending:** the campaign has been created and saved but hasn't been set live yet.
* **Live (pending):** the campaign is live, but has changes to its terms scheduled to take effect later.
* **Paused:** the campaign won't receive calls, either temporarily (to change terms or partners) or permanently. Callers hear a "Number not in service" prompt.
* **Suspended:** the connected Advertiser was temporarily suspended, which also pauses all of that Advertiser's campaigns. Calls don't follow your call treatment — callers hear a "Number not in service" prompt instead. Calls driven by in-network Publishers to campaigns hosted by in-network, suspended Advertisers still appear in reporting.
* **Archived:** the campaign is permanently removed and won't accept or route calls. Only paused campaigns can be archived. Callers hear a "Number not in service" prompt, though you can still view past calls to archived campaigns in your reports.
