# How to submit a customer support case

> Create a support case in the Case Portal when you can't find an answer in the Knowledge Base.

## Prerequisites

* An active Invoca account
* Access to the Case Portal, at support.invoca.com/s

## Steps to submit a case

1. Log in to your Invoca account and go to the Case Portal. You can also reach it from the navigation menu by going to **Support** > **Case Portal**.
2. Click the green **Create Support Case** button.
3. Fill out the form:
   * **Subject**: Describe your problem in a few concise words. If a solution already exists for a similar issue, it may appear as you type.
   * **Case Reason**: Select the general theme of your issue from the dropdown menu.
   * **Sub Category**: Choose a more specific classification. The options here change based on the Case Reason you selected.
   * **Description**: Provide a full description of the issue, including what you need resolved. Where relevant, include the expected behavior, the actual behavior you're seeing, any Call Record or Transaction IDs involved, links to related objects such as reports or campaigns, and screenshots if they help illustrate the issue.
4. Click **Submit**.

## After you submit

Once submitted, your case goes to the Support team, who follow up as soon as possible. You can track the status of any open case by returning to the Case Portal, opening the **Open Cases** tab, and clicking the case title. From there, you can view case attachments, add comments, and read notes from the Support team. You may also receive email notifications as your case is updated.
