# How Are Static & Overflow Calls' Session Parameters Defined in GA4?

> Calls without a Google Analytics Client ID will generally show as "not set" for session parameters in GA4.

Only check **Include events from "static" and "overflow" numbers** in the Action setup if you want to report events from calls that didn't capture a Google Analytics Client ID (the anonymous visitor ID Google sets for a webpage visit). Since this won't tie to any session or visitor information, leave the box unchecked if you'd rather keep your web analytics strictly focused on web or app visit tracking. Calls reported this way will generally show "not set" for session parameters in GA4, which could skew reporting if you're not expecting it.
