# Static Number Migration: Inter-Campaign Transfers

> Move static promo numbers from one campaign to another individually or in bulk, instead of losing them or paying to reallocate new ones.

> **What are static promo numbers?** Unlike most Invoca promo numbers, which are served dynamically to your online marketing visitors, static promo numbers aren't individually served to customers. Because they can't carry the same marketing data as dynamic numbers, they're usually used in offline marketing campaigns.

If a seasonal promotion is ending, or you want to retain your static promo numbers to save on number costs after a campaign wraps up, you can move them to a new campaign instead of losing them.

## Moving your static promo numbers

Only Super Users can move promo numbers between Advertiser campaigns or between Affiliate campaigns.

1. Log in to your Invoca account. In the sidebar menu, click **Promo Numbers**, then select **Manage Promo Numbers**.
2. Find the static promo number you want to move. In the Actions column, click the ellipsis menu, then select **Move**.
   * For Advertiser Direct promo numbers, select the destination Advertiser campaign.
   * For Affiliate Direct promo numbers, select the destination campaign and Affiliate.
3. To keep the number's existing marketing data attribution, check **Move Custom Data**. Otherwise, leave it unchecked.
4. Click **Move**.

Your static promo number moves to the new campaign immediately.

### Moving numbers in bulk

You can move up to 100 numbers at once to the same campaign:

1. Log in to your Invoca account. In the sidebar menu, click **Promo Numbers**, then select **Manage Promo Numbers**.
2. Select the static promo numbers you want to move.
3. Click the **Bulk Actions** dropdown, then select **Move Promo Numbers**.
   * For Advertiser Direct promo numbers, select the destination Advertiser campaign.
   * For Affiliate Direct promo numbers, select the destination campaign and Affiliate.
4. To keep the numbers' existing marketing data attribution, check **Move Custom Data**. Otherwise, leave it unchecked.
5. Click **Move**.

## FAQs

**Can I select and move several promo numbers at once?**
Yes, as long as they're all moving to the same campaign.

**Can I move numbers between Advertiser and Publisher campaigns?**
No — you can only move promo numbers to the same kind of campaign they were previously used with. You also can't move static promo numbers to a Syndicated Advertiser campaign, or to any archived campaign.

**Which kinds of promo numbers can and can't be moved?**
You can move Advertiser Direct and Affiliate Direct promo numbers. You can't move dynamic (RingPool) promo numbers or Syndicated numbers.

**Can I keep the same custom call treatment and payouts when I move a number?**
No. Custom data can move with a number, but custom terms — like custom call treatment and payouts — can't.
