# How Are Conditions Met When an Existing Signal Is Also a Keypress Signal?

> When a Signal combines both keypress and rule-based conditions, every condition must be satisfied for that Signal to apply to the call record.

## Answer

When a Signal has both a keypress condition and additional rules applied, all of those conditions must be met together — not just one or the other — for the Signal to be applied to the call record.
