# Show Data Labels

> Show and configure data labels for every Measure in a chart, either all at once or individually.

You can show data labels for every Measure in your chart, or configure labels separately for each Measure.

## Configure all data labels

Click the **edit chart configuration** icon, select the **Settings** menu, and select **all labels**.

  You can't select **all labels** when you **fit to screen**, unless the visualization doesn't have enough data points to require a scroll bar (and so already defaults to **fit to screen** mode).

To further configure labels — for example, to show unrounded numbers — configure them individually instead.

## Configure labels for one Measure

1. While viewing your search or Dashboard Tile as a chart, click the **chart configuration** icon on the top right.
2. Click the Measure you want to add labels to.
3. Check the **data labels** box.
4. Optionally specify a **category**, like *number*, *percentage*, or *currency*. Otherwise, Invoca automatically picks the best category for your data.
5. When you specify a category, you can also specify **units**. Select *none* to see your data down to two decimal points, or *millions* to see labels rounded to the millions, for example. You can also specify the number of decimal places.
