# Sharing Dashboards

> Build a dashboard once and share it with your team, with Advertisers, or with anyone via a link.

Your Invoca dashboard is a tool for building customized, at-a-glance views of your most important Invoca insights. You can build multiple dashboards and share those views with your team — useful for keeping everyone aligned on the same analytics and saving time on manual setup.

## Creating a new dashboard view

1. Log in to your Invoca account. In the sidebar menu, click **Dashboards**, then **Manage Dashboards**, then **+ New Dashboard**.
2. Enter a descriptive name for this view and click **Create**.
3. Add tiles to your new dashboard. See "An Introduction to Your Invoca Dashboard" for how to create tiles.

To start from an existing dashboard instead of building a new one, go to that dashboard, click the Actions menu, and select **Copy**. Rename the copy and customize it before sharing.

## Exporting your dashboard as a PDF

To share a dashboard with someone outside your organization, export it as a PDF. Open the dashboard, click **Export** in the top right, and you'll receive an email when the export is ready — useful for sending to stakeholders without an Invoca user account.

## Sharing dashboards with your team

Sharing a dashboard adds it directly to a team member's account with a dynamic view as new data comes in. Users with the Reporting or Filtered Reporting role can't share dashboards they create.

1. In the sidebar menu, click **Dashboards**, then **Manage Dashboards**, and select the dashboard you want to share.
2. Click the Actions dropdown, then select **Share with Users**.
3. Choose who to share with:
   * **Only Me:** A fully private dashboard — only you can see and edit it.
   * **Select Users:** Pick specific roles or individual users.
   * **Everyone:** All users on your network can see the dashboard, optionally limited to specific user group roles and licenses.
4. Click **Save** when you're finished.

Your team members will see the new dashboard, tagged Shared, under Managed Dashboards in their sidebar menu.

To share with Advertisers, follow the same steps but select **Share with Advertisers** instead of Share with Users. You can select all or some Advertisers — they'll only see their own data represented on the shared dashboard.

If you have a reporting role and can't share a dashboard directly, copy its URL and share that instead. Anyone who opens the URL sees a replica of your dashboard. It won't be saved directly to their account, but they can duplicate it using the steps above to keep a permanent version.

## Editing or deleting a dashboard

To change a dashboard you published yourself, make your edits directly — anyone you've shared it with sees the changes live.

To edit a dashboard someone else made, a Super User can transfer ownership of it to you, after which you can make changes. Shared dashboards can be deleted by any Super User or the dashboard's owner.
