# Configure the Invoca Tag to Selectively Swap for Paid Media Sources

> Restrict number swapping to visitors who arrive via a paid search ad or third-party click ID, instead of swapping numbers for every visitor.

Some accounts want to track calls only when they're triggered by a visitor clicking a paid search ad or a third-party click ID (such as Facebook, Microsoft/Bing, Google, or HubSpot), rather than swapping numbers for every visitor. This gives you more precise control over number swapping and helps manage number usage against your contract terms.

**Before you begin:** You'll need access to edit your Invoca Tag settings.

## Restricting number swapping to paid media sources

1. Go to **Settings**, then select **Invoca Tags**.
2. Confirm you're working in the correct tag using the dropdown next to the tag name.
3. Go to **Revision History** and click **New Draft**.
4. In the Notes section, add a comment describing the change.
5. Scroll to the **Advanced (Optional)** section and expand it.
6. In the **Parameters Required to Run** field, add the API name for the desired click ID (for example, `gclid`).
7. You can add multiple values to this field for different click IDs (for example, `gclid msclkid`).
8. Save the setting and test to confirm it works as expected.
9. Once testing passes, click **Save & Go Live** at the top of the Invoca Tag settings.
