# Can You Remove Marketing Data Fields via API?

> No — there's no way to remove a Marketing Data Field via API. Instead, you can clear its value so it displays consistently in reporting.

There isn't a way to remove Marketing Data Fields via API. As a workaround, set the field's value to null to gray it out in the UI, or use a placeholder like a blank space or a hyphen so it displays uniformly in Invoca reporting.
