# Performance Conversion Reports

> Use Conversion Reporting to match external conversion events to Invoca Signals, then pay affiliate partners based on the resulting revenue.

If you use Invoca for performance marketing, Conversion Reporting lets you track events like sales or scheduled appointments by matching a Signal in your account (typically named "sale" or "conversion") with conversions recorded in an external system — reported back to Invoca either in real time via the Signal API or in batches via Signal File Upload.

## Setting up Conversion Reporting

1. Create a rule-based Signal named "conversion" or "sale," leaving the Rules and Revenue fields blank.
2. In the sidebar, click **Campaigns**, then **Manage Campaigns**.
3. Open the Publisher Promotion or Fixed Price Bundled campaign you want to use.
4. Scroll to the Payout section and click **Edit**.
5. Check **Use Conversion Reporting**.
6. In the Payout Builder, enter a Base Payout amount for each call received — we recommend not adding conditions to this base payout, to avoid complications.
7. Click **+ Add Bonus**, then **Add Condition**. Select Signal in the condition builder, then choose the Signal you created in step 1.
8. Enter the bonus amount for conversions — as a percentage of sale revenue or a fixed dollar amount.
9. Click **Done**.

## Reporting conversions back to Invoca

Once your campaign is configured, send conversions using the Signal API or Signal File Upload. Each conversion is recorded as a transaction in your Transaction Details report, sharing the same Call ID as the originating call, with a transaction type of "Reported Conversion."
