# Invoca Is Not Swapping in Private/Incognito Browser

> Tags deployed through Google Tag Manager are blocked in private/incognito mode on most browsers — deploy through the Invoca tag manager instead.

If a tag is deployed through Google Tag Manager, it won't work in private/incognito mode on most browsers, or in the DuckDuckGo browser generally. These browsers use a mode that specifically blocks Google Tag Manager, along with Google Ads, Google Analytics, Microsoft Bing Ads, and Facebook Pixel.

## Resolution

Deploy using the Invoca tag manager instead. The Invoca tag manager isn't blocked by these browser modes, so the Invoca script functions normally on these websites.
