# How to Measure Load and Execution Time of the Invoca Tag and Number Swap Request

> Use Chrome DevTools' Network and Performance tabs to measure how long the Invoca Tag library, your configured tag, and the number swap request take to load.

## Using the Network tab

1. Right-click anywhere on the page and select **Inspect**, or press F12.
2. In DevTools, go to the **Network** tab.
3. Reload the page (F5 or the reload button).
4. Click the filter icon and enter these filter terms: `invoca-latest-min`, `tag-live`, and `na.jsonp`.
   * `invoca-latest-min.js` (or `pnapi-latest-min.js` for the legacy file): the Invoca Tag Library.
   * `tag-live.js`: your own configured tag, as set in the Tag Wizard.
   * `na.jsonp`: the number swap request.
5. Check the **Time** column for each script file.
6. For more detail, click a script file and select the **Timing** tab, which shows the time taken to request and receive that file — for example, 29.80ms to request and receive `tag-live.js`.

## Using the Performance tab

You can also use the **Performance** tab in Chrome DevTools for deeper insight into script and function performance, including a timeline of script loading, rendering, and other activity — useful for identifying bottlenecks.

1. In DevTools, click the **Performance** tab and click the record icon to profile the timeline of events for the page load.
2. Find the Invoca scripts in the timeline and click them for detailed information.
3. Use the **Bottom-Up** tab to see where the most time was directly spent, or the **Call Tree** tab to see which root activities caused the most work.

By reviewing each script's network transfer and resource loading times, you can identify and address any problematic code.
