# Why Am I Seeing "Many Signals" for the Signal Name in the Transactions API Response?

> When a call has more than 5 true Signals, the API returns "Many Signals" instead of listing them all — a field storage limitation.

**Applies to:** Customers using the Transactions API to access call report data

## Answer

Within a Transactions API response, you'll find detailed information about each call, along with its associated data and Signals — some entries may display "Many Signals" as the Signal name.

Call reports with more than 5 "true" Signals display "Many Signals" as the value instead of listing every Signal name, due to a limitation in field storage. If the number of true Signals is 5 or fewer, the API returns the Signal names separated by commas.
