# Lookup Tables: Reporting Data Integration

> If you route calls using lookup tables, you can add extra columns so that routing data — like which local branch received a call — also appears in your Invoca reports.

<Note>
Invoca is migrating Dashboards and Reports to the newer Insights & Analytics experience. See [Insights & Analytics: Getting Started Guide](/s/article/insights-analytics-getting-started-guide) to check out the new experience.

## Overview

This is useful when you want to see additional information in reporting that isn't captured directly from your customer's browser session. For example, if you route calls to different local branches based on a caller's ZIP code, Invoca only captures the ZIP code by default — not which branch ultimately received the call. Associating that ZIP code with a branch name in your lookup table lets you view call data by branch directly in your reports.

**Before you begin:** If you haven't set up call routing with lookup tables yet, do that first. If you use more than one lookup table for routing, we recommend associating Marketing Data with only one of them, to avoid accidentally overwriting values.

## Step 1: Create a New Marketing Data Field

Create a custom Marketing Data field for each reporting field you want to associate with your routing lookup table. If you have Category-type fields available in your account, use that type; otherwise, use Short Text.

## Step 2: Add Your New Field to Your Routing Lookup Table

1. Click **Settings** in the sidebar, then select **Marketing Data** in the Network section.
2. Click the **Tables** tab to see a summary of every table added to your platform.
3. Click the table you want to edit, then find its most recently uploaded version (see the Date column).
4. In the Actions column, click the download button and open the file in any spreadsheet program.
5. To the right of the Destination column, add a new column for each Marketing Data field created in Step 1. In the header row, enter the Partner (API) Name of each field, exactly as it appears in your Marketing Data dictionary.
6. Save the file under a new name, using a consistent naming convention such as "Table Name - (date of upload)."

For the best upload experience, keep spreadsheets under 200,000 rows. If you need to upload more rows than that in a single file, contact Invoca Support to discuss options.

## Step 3: Upload the New Spreadsheet File

1. Return to the **Tables** tab, find the table you edited, and click the **Upload** button in the Actions column.
2. Drop your updated spreadsheet into the file box and click **Upload**.
3. Watch the Summary status for "In progress," and refresh the page for an updated status once the upload completes.

Once finished, every call routed through your lookup table will be tagged with the Marketing Data value you added — visible the next time you check your reports.
