# Invoca Reporting Filter Not Working

> If a Marketing Data Field won't appear as a filter option in the Calls report, check the source spreadsheet for trailing spaces in your Lookup Table.

<Note>
  Invoca is migrating Dashboards and Reports to the newer Insights & Analytics experience. See [Insights & Analytics: Getting Started Guide](/s/article/insights-analytics-getting-started-guide) to check out the new experience.
</Note>

## Applies to

* Lookup Tables
* Calls Report
* Marketing Data Fields

## Symptoms

When attempting to apply a Marketing Data Field as a filter in the Calls report, no filter options appear in the menu.

## Cause

An extra space appears at the end of the data within one or more cells of the spreadsheet uploaded into the Lookup Table.

## Resolution

1. Download the most recently uploaded file for the Lookup Table.
2. Identify the columns or cells with trailing spaces at the end of their values.
3. Use your spreadsheet program's `TRIM` function to remove trailing spaces across the file at once.
4. Save and re-upload the corrected file to the Lookup Table.
5. Test the filter again in your report to confirm it now works.
