# Insights & Analytics Migration FAQ

> Answers to common questions about moving your account from legacy Dashboards and Reports to Insights & Analytics.

Insights & Analytics replaces the legacy Dashboards and Reports experience. This article covers when you can use the new experience, what moves over from your account, and what stays the same.

## Before you begin

* Find your migration date in the emails Invoca sent to your account's active users. Active users are those who have logged in within the past six months.
* Check whether your account uses Filtered Reporting roles or bulk-edits transactions. Both affect how long you keep legacy access, as described below.

## Check whether your account has migrated

The **Insights & Analytics** tab appears in your navigation after your migration finishes. If you see it, your account has migrated. If you don't, keep using legacy reporting.

Until your migration starts, you can keep building dashboards and reports in the legacy experience without losing changes. When the migration runs, the move itself takes minutes.

Active users receive one email a week for the four weeks before the migration, plus in-platform messages. Notices are the same for every role. If your migration date changes, Invoca sends a separate email, so check your inbox for the latest date.

## What moves to Insights & Analytics

Invoca recreates these items in your account:

* Saved reports and dashboards
* Shared settings
* Schedules
* Privately owned custom summaries

Legacy schedules are shut off when the new schedules are created. If a legacy schedule keeps sending after your migration, contact Invoca.

Filters carry over and gain include and exclude modes, custom filters on any field, and default date ranges. Reports export as PDF, Excel (XLSX), or CSV. Excel and CSV exports include table data only, not charts. You can still download call recordings one at a time from a report.

> **Note:** Invoca does not create a default dashboard. If nothing moved to your account, you see a blank page. Dashboard templates are available when you create a new dashboard.

## View legacy reports after migration

After your migration, you can view legacy reports and dashboards but not edit them. The date your legacy access ends is in your migration emails.

Check whether either of these applies to your account, because both keep legacy access past that date:

* Users with Filtered Reporting roles can't open the **Recent Activity** page yet. They keep access to legacy reporting until that changes.
* If you need to bulk-edit transactions, contact Invoca to turn legacy editing back on.

## Scheduled reports after migration

Check your scheduled reports after your migration for these behaviors:

* Email attachments are limited to 4 MB. A migrated report that loses its custom call-activity filters can grow past that limit and stop sending. Switch the schedule to PDF, send links instead of attachments, or shorten the date range.
* Scheduled exports list the report's filters in the first rows. If you load the file into another system, account for those rows.
* Date options include **Last 7 Days** (a rolling window) and **This Week**, which starts on Monday. A Sunday-through-Saturday week isn't available yet.
* If you try to delete or turn off a legacy schedule, you see an error because legacy reporting is read-only.

## What stays the same after migration

The migration changes how reporting data appears after a call is completed and analyzed. It doesn't affect your call routing, phone numbers, call uptime, or the Invoca APIs. Existing reporting APIs remain supported, and no breaking changes or deprecations are planned. The Transactions API is unchanged by the migration, and AI summaries are not included in it.

## When new call data appears in Insights & Analytics

Reports in Insights & Analytics can show data up to two hours after a call ends. This delay is by design. If a call you expect is missing, wait for the delay to pass before you contact Invoca.
