# Why Is Google Ads Keyword Data Missing From Invoca Reports?

> Keyword data won't populate in Invoca reports unless the Google Customer ID is correctly captured and added to your Final URL suffix in Google Ads.

**Applies to:** Google Ads, network-level integration

## Symptoms

Google Ads keyword data isn't populating in Invoca reports.

## Cause

Keyword data won't appear in Invoca reports if any of the resolution steps below are missed or implemented incorrectly.

## Resolution

1. Confirm the Google Ads account is configured according to the [Google Ads: Installation Guide](/s/article/google-ads-installation-guide).
2. Confirm the Google Customer ID Marketing Data field is implemented.
3. Make sure the Invoca Tag is updated to capture the `customer_id` Marketing Data field.
4. Add the Google `customer_id` to the Final URL suffix within Google Ads. The `customer_id` is the Google Account ID associated with the conversion.

Refer to [Google's documentation](https://support.google.com/sa360/answer/9246757?hl=en) for specifics on URL setup. If all ads in a client account use the same tracking URL parameters, add them to the account's Final URL suffix. Otherwise, add the parameters at the campaign level or lower — suffixes at lower levels override suffixes set higher up.
