# What Is the Fuzzy Matching Success Rate for the Signal API?

> Matching accuracy depends on which parameters you provide — the more identifying data included, the higher the confidence.

**Applies to:** Signal API

## Answer

The accuracy achieved depends on the specific data and parameters provided when using the Signal API.

For higher accuracy:

* Scoping down to an advertiser or campaign, if that data is available, improves accuracy.
* Providing Caller ID is recommended, though not mandatory — accuracy is lower if only the start time is provided without Caller ID.
* Including call duration as a parameter can also improve accuracy.

For the highest level of accuracy:

* Provide the call ID or transaction ID in the API request.
* If neither is available, combine start time, Caller ID, and duration — this combination is likely to produce very accurate matching.
