# End of Call Reasons

> The End of Call Reason field explains how a call ended — useful for confirming call routing is working as expected.

<Note>
  Invoca is migrating Dashboards and Reports to the newer Insights & Analytics experience. See [Insights & Analytics: Getting Started Guide](/s/article/insights-analytics-getting-started-guide) to check out the new experience.
</Note>

You'll find this field in Invoca reports and dashboard tiles. It's especially useful when setting up a new campaign — for example, confirming the volume of calls ending with "IVR: Hang-up" if your IVR includes a hang-up node.

Add the End of Call Reason Count tile to your Network or Profile/Advertiser home page, and use the "All Calls" dropdown to narrow it to specific Advertisers, Campaigns, or Affiliates. This field is also available in the Calls and Transaction Details reports at the Network and Profile/Advertiser level.

## Reason codes

| Reason | What it means |
| - | - |
| Caller: Hang-up | Calling party hung up, before or after a fraud-detection challenge |
| Destination: Hang-up | Receiving party hung up |
| IVR: Hang-up | The IVR or call treatment ended the call via a hang-up node |
| Invoca: Max Call Duration | Invoca ended the call at the 3-hour maximum |
| Destination: Busy | Destination returned a busy signal (no capacity) |
| Destination: No Answer | Called party didn't respond within the expected window |
| Destination: Number Not in Service | Destination phone line is disconnected |
| Destination: Error (503 or Fast Busy) | Destination carrier returned an error or busy signal |
| Invoca: Hang-up | Rare; occurs when Invoca itself ends the call |
| Invoca: Hang-up (Unknown Promo Number) | The carrier has a number in its directory that Invoca doesn't recognize, often during number porting |
| Invoca: Hang-up (Blacklisted Caller) | Calling number is on Invoca's blacklist |
| Invoca: Hang-up (Blocked due to Call Fraud) | Caller failed a fraud-detection challenge |
| Unknown: Unknown Cause | Rare catch-all for unidentified errors |

**Applies to:** Calls report, Transaction Details report, and End of Call Reason Count dashboard tiles.

All inbound calls automatically disconnect after three hours. During high-traffic periods such as annual enrollment, Invoca can temporarily extend this to eight hours — contact your Customer Success Manager to request this between October 1 and December 8 each year.
