# Can I Use Other Comparison Operators to Check a Condition in Call Treatment?

> Edit the default equals-operator expression directly to use other comparison operators, like != for "not equal to."

You can use custom Marketing Data in a call treatment condition to check for a specific value. Click **Check a Condition** > **Add Condition** > **Custom Fields**, then choose the data field you want to check.

Once a field is selected, Invoca adds a default expression using the equals operator (`=`). You can use other comparison operators by editing that symbol directly in the input field — for example, `!=` checks for "not equal to."

**Applies to:** Campaign, Call Treatment
