# What Happens When You Change a Campaign's ID?

> Changing a campaign's ID only affects API calls or deliveries that reference the old ID — otherwise there's no negative impact.

Any API calls or deliveries that reference the campaign ID will need to be updated to use the new one. Beyond that, updating a campaign's ID has no negative impact.
