# Change Applied Account or Company Type

> If a Publisher or Advertiser selected the wrong company type when applying, correct it manually before approving or declining their application.

When a Publisher or Advertiser applies from the sign-up page, they select their company or account type — but some select the wrong one. You can correct this before acting on their application.

## Changing an account from Advertiser to Publisher

1. In the sidebar, click **Advertisers**, then select **Manage Advertisers**.
2. Use the Sort dropdown and select **Applied**.
3. Select the Advertiser via the checkbox column, then click the Bulk Actions dropdown and select **Change to Publisher**.

## Changing an account from Publisher to Advertiser

1. In the sidebar, click **Publishers**, then select **Manage Publishers**.
2. Use the Sort dropdown and select **Applied**.
3. Select the Publisher via the checkbox column, then click the Bulk Actions dropdown and select **Change to Advertiser**.

Only accounts with an Applied status can be changed this way. If you've already approved or denied an account under the wrong type, you'll need to remove it from your network and ask them to reapply.
