# Cannot Find a Scheduled Report

> If a scheduled report has gone missing or stopped sending, walk through account permissions, report ownership, and change history to track down what happened.

<Note>
  Invoca is migrating Dashboards and Reports to the newer Insights & Analytics experience. See [Insights & Analytics: Getting Started Guide](/s/article/insights-analytics-getting-started-guide) to check out the new experience.
</Note>

**Applies to:** Scheduled Dashboard reports

## Steps to troubleshoot

1. Check the affected user's permission level (Filtered Reporting, Super User, etc.) — report visibility depends on this.
2. Confirm who originally created the report. A report saved under one user's personal view may not be visible to others.
3. Check the account for any other scheduled reports still active, and ask the user to send a screenshot or copy of what they're expecting to see.
4. Review the account's change history for the report in question, using its name to narrow the search.
5. If needed, create a user account for yourself matching the same role and permission level as the affected user, so you can view the account the way they do.

If the report was a custom report saved only in that user's personal view, it generally can't be recovered or accessed by anyone else — in that case, the report will need to be rebuilt from scratch.
