# Can the Calls-in-Progress API Be Used Without a PreSense Subscription?

> Yes, in a limited way — you can retrieve a basic set of call identifiers without a PreSense subscription, known as the "Exact Match" use case.

By default, most pre-call data returned by the Calls-in-Progress API requires a PreSense subscription. Without one, a limited set of fields is still available for accurately attributing data post-call to the Signal API — Invoca calls this the "Exact Match" use case.

**Applies to:**

* Customers who need to link the Call Record ID or Transaction ID to calls in a third-party system, to better match data sent back to Invoca
* Customers who need basic real-time data about calls
* Customers looking for an alternative to a Pre-Transfer Webhook for passing a unique call identifier

## Fields available through Exact Match

* Transaction ID
* Call Record ID
* Caller ID
* Called Phone Number
* Destination Number
* Call Start Time
