# Can Call Transcripts Be Accessed Through the Transactions API?

> Not directly — call recordings are available through the Transactions API, but transcripts require a separate call to the Invoca Transcript API.

**Applies to:** Customers who want to access call transcripts through an API, or add call transcripts to data already pulled from Invoca via API

Call recordings can be accessed through the Transactions API, but transcripts require a separate call to the Invoca Transcript API (also known as the Call API). This API uses the Call Record ID to match to the correct transcript.
