# Call Recording: Disabling & Management

> Turn off call recording for a specific campaign, account-wide, or just disable the automated recording notice played to callers.

Your Invoca account can record phone calls — useful for gathering insights through tools like Voice Signals, Signal AI, and conversation review. This article covers turning off recording for specific campaigns, disabling recording account-wide, and disabling the automated recording notice played to callers.

If you need a more sophisticated tool to record only certain calls based on compliance or other conditional standards, see [Conditional Call Recording](/s/article/conditional-call-recording).

## Disabling call recording for a single campaign

1. Log in to your Invoca account. In the sidebar menu, click **Campaigns**, then select **Manage Campaigns**.
2. Select the campaign where you want to disable call recording, then in the Call Treatment pane, click **Edit**.
3. In the **Record Call** dropdown, select **No**, then click **Save**.

## Disabling the "call recorded" prompt

By default, callers hear a prompt at the start of a recorded call informing them "This call may be recorded." You may want to disable this if your call center already provides compliant notification to callers on its own.

To disable this prompt, reach out to your account team or [support@invoca.com](mailto:support@invoca.com). Once your request is processed, you'll see a new "Play call recorded prompt" checkbox in your call treatment options. Disabling the prompt requires accepting a legal agreement before you can continue.

## Disabling call recording account-wide

You can also prevent call recording across your entire account. Once disabled, any previously recorded calls become inaccessible to all users. To disable call recording account-wide, reach out to your account team or [support@invoca.com](mailto:support@invoca.com).
