# How to Block DialogTech from Running on a Page

> When migrating to Invoca from DialogTech, use Chrome DevTools' network request blocking to stop DialogTech's script from interfering with the Invoca Tag while both are still deployed.

If you're migrating to Invoca from DialogTech, you may need to prevent the DialogTech script from interfering with the Invoca Tag while both are still deployed on a page. You can block DialogTech's script using Chrome DevTools' network request blocking feature.

**Before you begin:** You'll need the webpage open where you're testing Invoca, with DialogTech still deployed.

## Blocking DialogTech

1. Open Chrome DevTools on the page.
2. Open the console drawer: select the kebab menu (three dots) in the upper-right corner of DevTools and choose **Show console drawer**.
3. In the console drawer, use the kebab menu again to expose the **Network request blocking** and **Search** tabs via **More Tools**.
4. In the **Network request blocking** tab, check **Enable network request blocking**, then refresh the page.
5. Go to the **Search** tab and search for "dialogtech." You should see a result in a file called `st.js`.
6. Click the arrow next to `st.js` to reveal the lines referencing DialogTech. Right-click the first line and select **Reveal in Sources panel**.
7. In the Sources panel, right-click the `st.js` tab and select **Reveal in Network panel**.
8. In the Network panel, right-click the `st.js` row and select **Block request domain**.
9. The new blocked domain now appears in the **Network Request Blocking** tab. Confirm its checkbox is checked, then refresh the page — DialogTech should no longer be running.
10. If DialogTech is still running, repeat from step 7 for any other lines referencing DialogTech.
