# Advanced Hours Scheduling

> A campaign supports only one time range per day. Here are two ways to work around needing a split schedule, like a lunch-break closure.

When creating a campaign, you can set specific Hours of Operation for when you expect call traffic to perform best. Campaigns still receive calls outside those hours — Invoca uses this schedule to affect call treatment routing behavior and trigger Signals.

Hours of operation are set as a range: a specific start time and stop time for receiving calls. You can set a unique range for each day of the week, but **only one time range per day**.

## Working around a single daily time range

If you need two separate time ranges in a day — for example, a call center open 8 a.m.–5 p.m. with a lunch break from 12 p.m.–1 p.m. — that's not possible within a single campaign. Two alternatives:

1. **Create two identical campaigns** with different hours of operation. For example, Campaign A receives calls 8 a.m.–12 p.m., and Campaign B receives calls 1 p.m.–5 p.m.
2. **Use one campaign** with hours of operation spanning the full range (8 a.m.–5 p.m. in this example). Calls still come in during the closed period (12 p.m.–1 p.m.) — during that time, they:
   * Won't be answered, but will ring and appear in reporting.
   * Won't be paid, if the call was sent by an affiliate.
