# Adding Overflow Numbers to Existing RingPools

> Overflow numbers are only added to a RingPool at creation time — for a RingPool that already exists without one, recreate it after enabling the network setting.

**Applies to:** Invoca networks and existing RingPools that don't currently have an overflow number enabled.

## Enabling overflow numbers for future RingPools

1. Go to your network-level Invoca settings.
2. Locate **RingPool Auto-Scaling**.
3. Enable auto-scaling so overflow numbers are included for each new RingPool going forward.

## Adding an overflow number to an existing RingPool

Overflow numbers are only assigned when a RingPool is first created, so an existing RingPool without one needs to be recreated rather than edited directly:

1. Delete the existing RingPool that needs an overflow number.
2. Let the Invoca Tag detect the number on your site again — this creates a new RingPool for it.
3. With auto-scaling enabled (see above), the new RingPool includes an overflow number automatically.
