# Add Regression Lines

> Add a regression line to a chart to visualize the trend across a single attribute and Measure.

To add a regression line, your search needs only one attribute and one Measure — otherwise, the option is grayed out in the **Settings** panel. As soon as you modify the search to contain a single Measure and attribute, the regression line option becomes clickable.

1. While viewing your Dashboard Tile as a chart, click the **chart configuration** icon on the top right.
2. Click **Settings** at the bottom of the **Customize** menu.
3. Select **Regression line**.

You can show regression lines on most chart types, including bar, stacked bar, line, and bubble charts.
